Metropoli

A horizon signifies the end, a limit, but what if the whole planet were covered in one city? The unfathomable stretch of urban density toward an infinite horizon. Would it be possible to drive an endless highway, blurring past cityscapes, identifiable only by a unique colour each epicentre vividly expresses?

Metropoli explores the Bladerunner aesthetic of the present. The space which a Metropolis creates and fills. The seemingly unique skyline is irrelevant when there is only skyline as far as the eye can see. At what point does a carapace begin to breathe it’s own life, long after it has suffocated the earth of its foundations.

And yet each dot of light is life. The warmth of humanity. The awe of one - and thousands.
